📋 Description

• Build and lead a collaborative team • Design, develop, and execute test plans for reporting systems, data extracts, and business intelligence outputs • Write, optimize, and peer-review complex SQL queries to verify data accuracy, transformations, and reporting logic • Trace data lineage across source systems, ETL processes, and reporting layers • Validate calculations, aggregations, formatting, and business metrics against backend data and requirements • Investigate data discrepancies by analyzing raw datasets, SQL logic, and ETL pipelines • Identify edge cases, unexpected data patterns, and risks affecting reporting quality • Document and track defects with reproduction steps, technical findings, and resolution recommendations • Collaborate with data engineers, reporting teams, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and validation criteria • Maintain SQL scripts, test cases, and technical documentation using Git and version control practices • Develop documentation covering test scenarios, QA procedures, validation results, and data definitions • Improve data quality, testing efficiency, and QA processes • Own assigned testing activities and ensure reliable reporting deliverables • Report to Jakub Chabik

🎯 Requirements

• SaaS experience • Advanced experience writing, optimizing, and peer-reviewing complex SQL queries • Proven ability to trace data lineage from source systems through ETL processes to reporting layers • Hands-on experience designing, documenting, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases from scratch • Experience validating data extracts, aggregations, calculations, and formatting against backend data sources • Ability to investigate raw data, ETL pipelines, and SQL queries to identify root causes of discrepancies • Experience debugging complex SQL queries • Ability to identify edge cases, data anomalies, and potential reporting failures • Experience using Git, including branching and pull requests, to manage SQL scripts, test code, and technical documentation • Experience documenting, tracking, and reporting defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence • Ability to translate business requirements into testing criteria and validate reporting logic against business definitions and KPIs • Ability to document test cases, QA processes, validation results, and data dictionaries • Strong communication and collaboration skills with data engineering, reporting, and business teams

🏖️ Benefits
