📋 Description

• Provide on-the-ground operational, logistical, and promotional support for Newsela’s California Core Adoption campaign • Partner with Sales Consultants to execute local ground campaigns • Deliver print samples, pilot materials, and promotional collateral to County Offices of Education and school districts • Conduct drop-ins at middle and high school campuses to deliver ELA preview materials and event invitations • Assist with setup, arrangement, and teardown of Newsela exhibition booths at statewide and regional conferences • Represent Newsela at conference booths, engage attendees, capture lead information, and introduce Threads & Themes • Support delivery and distribution of pilot classroom materials, teacher guide packages, and student login collateral for district pilot programs

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in K-12 education, educational sales support, conference event staffing, or field marketing within the EdTech/publishing industry • Familiarity with the California public school system, County Offices of Education (COEs), and basic ELA/ELD instructional terminology • Valid California Driver’s License • Reliable personal vehicle • Proof of auto insurance • Ability to lift and transport boxes of print materials or booth equipment weighing up to 35–40 lbs • Availability for flexible hours, including early mornings and full days during multi-day educational conferences • No overnight travel • Legally authorized to work in the US • Successful completion of a background check
