📋 Description
• Act at the Associate Level Preservica Manager, able to ingest and manage assets in the platform • Progress toward Expert level in Preservica • Perform auditing and quality control of content described for Preservica • Triage collections for digital preservation • Define metadata needs specific to each collection • Assist customer support for staff, committee members, and the public
🎯 Requirements
• Master's Degree in Library and Information Science • Or enrolled in MLS with work experience • 2–4 years’ experience in digital asset management systems • Experience with Preservica desired • High degree of experience with other archival DAMS considered • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work independently • Exposure to metadata schemas: METS, DC, MODS, EAD, CDWAlite, PREMIS, EDM, MARCXML, EAC-CPF desired • Exposure to description standards: DACS, MARC, DDC, LOC, RDA desired
