📋 Description

• Support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management Program across headquarters and nationwide field locations • Provide technical, analytical, and administrative support for environmental compliance, policy development, regulatory analysis, auditing, inspections, incident investigations, and recordkeeping • Develop and maintain environmental policies, procedures, directives, guidance documents, forms, and communications • Conduct and support environmental compliance audits, including in-person, virtual, self-assessment, HQ, and TSDF audits • Review and update environmental compliance checklists • Support development and delivery of environmental training programs, including RCRA hazardous waste, DOT, and generator-specific training • Monitor and evaluate federal, state, and local environmental regulations and proposed rulemakings • Provide analysis and recommendations addressing regulatory changes • Create and distribute environmental communications and outreach materials • Prepare and maintain environmental reports, plans, permits, and related documentation • Support environmental incident response, including spill or leak reporting and coordination • Assist with regulatory inspections by environmental agencies and fire marshals • Maintain the client Environmental Management System portal and program tracking activities • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives • Travel to client facilities, including airport locations across CONUS and OCONUS • Prepare routine reports summarizing program activities, compliance status, audit results, and performance metrics • Track and communicate environmental risks, issues, and mitigation strategies • Collaborate with client personnel, contractors, and external partners • Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and coordination efforts

🎯 Requirements

• US Citizen with ability to obtain public trust • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Management, or an environmentally related field • At least 1 year of experience in environmental work • Familiarity with hazardous materials and hazardous waste regulations • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with civilian personnel and industry partners • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • High degree of originality, creativity, and initiative, requiring minimal supervision • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, including frequent overnight trips • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills • Candidate must be located in Montana, Oregon, Washington, or Idaho within close proximity to a major airport • Professional certification, such as Certified Industrial Hygienist or Certified Safety Professional, preferred
