📋 Description

• Maintain hardware systems, associated operating systems, and connectivity capabilities • Monitor, analyze, and plan upgrades to ensure adequate system capacity and availability • Provide technical leadership and support for computing systems and systems integration • Conduct and present performance and capacity analyses • Maintain broad knowledge of NMHC IT server and distributed systems • Diagnose and coordinate problem determination and resolution with vendors and manufacturers • Respond to customer needs and manage relationships through issue closure • Support application teams with project and support activities • Communicate with customers and IS team members • Review technology projects and analyze business requirements • Recommend system changes, write technical specifications, and implement changes • Develop project plans, scopes, effort projections, schedules, and standards • Establish and enforce local area network standards, policies, and procedures • Participate in technology planning • Integrate vendor and manufacturer technical knowledge into NMHC • Mentor team members and application teams • Contribute to the IS Knowledge Repository • Provide on-call support

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in core discipline • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (preferred) • 5+ years of experience in core discipline in the healthcare industry (preferred) • Providing on-call support is required • Must complete authorization and disclosure forms for a criminal-history background check if offered the position • Compliance with relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, regulatory, and accreditation standards
