• Manage daily RITN program operations, grant deliverables, timelines, reporting, and stakeholder coordination • Coordinate annual participating center requirements, including contact updates, GETS validation, capacity surveys, SOP reviews, consent form maintenance, education activities, and tabletop participation • Support participating center roster management using transplant status, geography, military-based proximity, bed capacity, pediatric/adult coverage, and clinical input • Coordinate RITN Advisory Council activities, including roster maintenance, meeting preparation, documentation, follow-up tracking, and engagement with representatives • Support ONR grant performance through task lists, budget inputs, staffing documentation, supporting artifacts/deliverables, and internal follow-up • Coordinate RITN meetings, webinars, workshops, training events, conferences, and vendor-supported tabletop exercises • Maintain RITN website content, training materials, tracking tools, program documentation, and RITN Portal content • Represent RITN as a subject matter expert in meetings, conferences, task forces, exercises, and partner discussions • Provide emergency management support to NMDP Business Operations during adverse events affecting time-sensitive blood stem cell transport • Monitor weather, transportation disruptions, infrastructure outages, public health events, civil disruptions, and other operational threats • Coordinate with business operations, logistics partners, transplant centers, collection centers, couriers, and response stakeholders on continuity decisions and escalation paths • Document incidents, maintain situational awareness, communicate operational impacts, and support after-action reviews and corrective actions • Support business continuity, disaster recovery, emergency preparedness, crisis communications, and operational risk mitigation duties • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor's degree in emergency management, crisis response, contingency planning, business continuity, intelligence studies, healthcare administration, public health, project management, or a related field • Two or more years of experience managing complex programs, projects, grant deliverables, partner networks, emergency preparedness activities, business continuity efforts, or disaster planning initiatives • Experience supporting logistics coordination, transportation continuity, incident response, operational risk management, tabletop exercises, advisory groups, proposal materials, budget inputs, or program reporting • Knowledge of emergency preparedness, business continuity, crisis response, risk mitigation, exercise development, after-action reviews, corrective action planning, and crisis communications • Knowledge of project and program management practices for workgroups, advisory councils, workshops, training events, and multi-stakeholder initiatives • Knowledge of radiation safety, radiological response concepts, hospital preparedness, and public health preparedness operations • Knowledge of advisory council administration and tabletop exercise coordination • Knowledge of logistics risk management, incident coordination, and continuity practices for critical medical products • Ability to manage complex programs, competing priorities, deliverables, timelines, stakeholders, and follow-through with minimal supervision • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Project or similar tools, and Microsoft Copilot • Ability to communicate through presentations, facilitation, business writing, negotiation, persuasion, customer service, and stakeholder engagement • Ability to assess operational risks, simplify complex information, make decisions under pressure, and act decisively with incomplete information • Ability to influence without direct authority, build alignment, and translate emerging risks into mitigation actions • Willingness to work unusual hours during emergencies and be on-call and accessible during evening, night, and weekend hours • Project or program management certification preferred; demonstrable equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of certification • Experience with healthcare coalition, hospital preparedness, or public health emergency preparedness programs preferred • Experience supporting federal grants, cooperative agreements, or government-facing deliverables preferred • Experience with exercise design, facilitation, evaluation, after-action reports, and corrective-action tracking preferred • Experience with transplant center operations, blood stem cell transport, logistics continuity, or time-critical healthcare operations preferred • PMP, CBCP, MBCP, CHEP, emergency management, project management, or business continuity credentials preferred
