• Support data-driven decision-making for a commercial, industrial, and agricultural energy efficiency program • Gather data and produce insights guiding outreach, measure development, forecasting, and program design • Analyze program data and research market conditions • Deliver reports informing tactical and strategic decisions for program teams and clients • Create, review, and maintain dashboards and program datasets tracking project activity, savings, and incentive spend • Develop monthly program characteristics, program penetration, and market insight reports • Interpret data to identify leading indicators, performance trends, risks, and improvement opportunities • Contextualize program operations and performance data within economic, policy, and sector trends • Support monthly and annual projections of kWh savings and incentive/budget spend • Monitor and summarize market intelligence, including tariffs, policy, legislation, equipment efficacy, and environmental standards • Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations • Maintain data quality and consistency across tracking systems and reporting tools
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, data analytics, engineering, or a related field, or graduate degree, with 5+ years of combined experience in energy efficiency program analysis, market research, or a related analytical role • If no degree is held, 8+ years of combined experience in the above roles or related fields • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Ability to translate program and market data into actionable insights • Excellent technical and non-technical writing and communication abilities • Ability to convey findings to diverse technical and non-technical audiences • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Experience with SQL and Power BI or Tableau for data analysis and visualization • Knowledge of statistical frameworks or tools such as R is preferred • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on complex analytical projects • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting • Based in Oregon preferred • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship or support • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks • If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
