📋 Description

• Manage all aspects of fundraising from private foundations, government grants, corporations, and other grant-awarding bodies • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with key institutional funders • Submit, report on, and oversee pre- and post-award grant activity • Research funding opportunities and develop grant applications, budgets, and complex narratives • Facilitate interdepartmental and interdisciplinary teams throughout the grant cycle • Collaborate with the System Director and Grant Professional team to identify and secure system-level or multi-market opportunities • Provide education and technical guidance on grant preparation, submission, and award monitoring • Monitor grant-funded program activities, expenditures, and reporting • Prepare and submit invoices, funder reports, evaluations, and correspondence • Ensure grants and contracts comply with institutional, local, state, federal, and sponsor guidelines, policies, rules, and laws • Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Grants and Organizational Giving

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree • 5 years of related experience required • Demonstrated success securing private and public foundation, government, and corporate support • Experience cultivating, soliciting, writing proposals, and stewarding private-funder grants • Experience researching, developing applications and budgets, and managing government grants • Proven critical thinking and strategic planning experience • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with senior-level executive experience • Ability to discern fundable programs and match them with funding sources • Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills • Knowledge of research tools and techniques for identifying institutional funding opportunities • Knowledge of compliance issues and legal requirements for restricted organizational grant funding • Strong editing skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage, budget, and forecast contributions and related expenses • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Grant Professional Certified (GPC) preferred • Healthcare, grant procurement, and philanthropy experience strongly preferred • Experience with Raiser's Edge, online funder directories, fundraising software, and WorkDay preferred
