NorthLakes Community Clinic is a community-based Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing integrated, whole-person primary and behavioral health care across multiple locations. 📋 Description

• Analyze and review medical records for completeness and accuracy according to specified standards • Abstract and code clinical data including diseases, operations, procedures, and therapies • Monitor completion of medical records according to time standards • Confer with doctors, nurses, and other health personnel to ensure complete, current, and accurate records • Compile, maintain, and review logs, reports, and statistical records • Research records to locate requested health data • Maintain and use health record indexes and storage and retrieval systems • Operate computers to process, store, and retrieve health information • Assist in identifying medical records needed for research using manual and computer indexes • Prepare input for computerized medical information systems and process vital statistics, insurance, and other forms and documents • Navigate computerized applications associated with job duties, including EMR, EDR, Patient Portal, Insurance Portals, Reminder Call system, and CIOX • Demonstrate knowledge of ethics, HIPAA, and business etiquette through current training completion • Provide customer service while representing NorthLakes' mission, vision, and values to patients with diverse social determinants

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must reside within NorthLakes' service area at the time of hire and maintain residency throughout employment • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to navigate computerized applications associated with job duties, including EMR, EDR, Patient Portal, Insurance Portals, Reminder Call system, and CIOX • Knowledge of ethics, HIPAA, and business etiquette, demonstrated by a current training certificate of completion • Customer service skills and ability to represent NorthLakes' mission, vision, and values to patients with diverse social determinants • Successful completion of a criminal background check and references
