📋 Description

• Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procurement of services, specialized materials, and/or equipment • Prepare bid packages and conduct bidders conferences • Analyze and evaluate proposals • Perform price/cost analysis and negotiate subcontract provisions • Select or recommend subcontractors, write awards, and administer resulting subcontracts • Ensure appropriate documentation is provided for proper receipt recording • Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts • Coordinate subcontract funding, invoice processing, and program reviews with program functional areas • Coordinate and collaborate with contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, program, and end-user stakeholders • Evaluate and monitor supplier quality, reliability, and ability to support delivery schedules with the quality organization • Identify strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and manage risk through strategic and targeted negotiations • Manage subcontract performance and ensure compliance with public law requirements, company and business policies, and import/export regulations • Utilize Lean Six Sigma process tools with suppliers to drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement • Manage and develop strategic/key suppliers • Review and approve supplier payments

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 years of related experience; OR 2+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree; OR 1+ year of relevant experience with a Master's • Experience in supply chain management or related fields, including business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, or manufacturing • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office to create spreadsheets, documents, and presentations, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance • U.S. Citizenship is required for positions with a government clearance • Preferred: Government or aerospace procurement/buying experience • Preferred: Knowledge of FAR/DFAR • Preferred: Knowledge of CPSR and government audits • Preferred: Experience with aircraft maintenance activities under U.S. Government prime contracts, including spares procurement and movement • Preferred: Import/Export (ITAR) experience • Preferred: SAP experience
