📋 Description

• Lead facilities operations, maintenance, workplace services, and building management activities • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, accessibility, and regulatory requirements • Manage the organization’s leased real estate portfolio, including leases, acquisitions, renewals, and dispositions • Manage facilities-related capital assets • Develop and execute space planning, strategic facility forecasting, and workplace strategies • Oversee and project manage facility construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects • Manage budgets, forecast expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities • Manage office operations staff providing reception, visitor management, employee services, meeting support, and event support • Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and service-level performance management • Develop business continuity and facility risk mitigation plans • Supervise workplace services staff and foster a high-performing team culture • Provide an exceptional workplace experience for employees and visitors at NuScale locations • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in facility management, engineering, architecture, business, or another related field • Professional certification (CFM or equivalent) required • Project management certification (PMP) desired • Ten or more years of workplace operations experience • Experience including leased facility management, workplace operations, and strategic planning • At least five years of experience managing a multi-location team • Demonstrated ability to manage projects at multiple facilities simultaneously • Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810 • Ability to understand and communicate clearly using a phone, personal interaction, and computers • Ability to learn new job functions and comprehend new concepts quickly and apply them accurately in a rapidly evolving environment • Ability to travel internationally, nationally, and locally using common forms of transportation • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, use hands to operate office equipment, and reach with hands and arms
