📋 Description

• Provide efficient and timely service to members via phone, mail, and facsimile • Provide basic member service transactions accurately and with quality • Consult with members, identify needs, offer solutions, and follow up on pending transactions • Recommend products and services, including ancillary products, as appropriate • Open new member accounts including savings, checking, money market, trust, certificates, and IRA accounts • Complete account cards, certificate applications and agreements, trust applications and agreements, and certificates of trust • Perform account maintenance, including address and name changes, account setup updates, joint owner and beneficiary updates, account closures, deceased account processing, and notary services • Identify and report suspicious behavior or suspected fraud activity • Complete required training and compliance modules • Support and participate in continuous improvement activities • Represent the Credit Union positively and professionally • Maintain confidentiality of member and other sensitive information • Treat co-workers and members with respect • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 1 year retail experience with a proven track record in meeting and or exceeding service and sales goals. • Basic understanding of financial products and services • Professional verbal skills and etiquette • Competent computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook and Excel), remote signing and ability to work and operate a webcam • Excellent follow up • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and anticipate member needs • Excellent Written skills (Email) – Grammar and Spelling • Member service and organizational skills • Work well with other departments – Team player • Genuine interest in helping members through Conversations that Matter and have an empathetic and caring nature • Willingness to make a difference • Personable and professional • High School Diploma or equivalent
