📋 Description

• Build, architect, develop, and debug critical firmware running in the GPU OOBHUB. • Develop robust peripheral control and secure communication interfaces. • Build and optimize high-reliability firmware update mechanisms and telemetry systems. • Collaborate with hardware architects and ASIC designers to initiate new silicon. • Define firmware-hardware interfaces and communication protocols. • Implement secure, modern firmware solutions using high-reliability languages and principles. • Partner with software, hardware, and infrastructure teams to turn architectural features into production-ready firmware.

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS degree in EE, CS, CE, or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of experience in low-level firmware development, embedded systems, or microcontroller programming. • Strong background managing peripherals and communication stacks using SPI, I2C/I3C, PCIe, SMBus, MCTP, or PLDM. • Expert-level C development skills in resource-constrained environments. • Experience with RISC-V or similar embedded processor architectures. • Deep understanding of software development processes and robust debugging methodologies. • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code. • Excellent interpersonal abilities for working with hardware designers and diverse engineering groups. • Ada or SPARK experience or familiarity is advantageous. • Direct RISC-V assembly, custom extensions, or low-level architectural optimization experience is advantageous. • Knowledge of secure firmware updates, hardware roots of trust, or cryptographic hardware accelerators is advantageous.
