📋 Description

• Craft and implement silicon pad rings • Define and implement the chip pad ring and substrate interconnect scheme • Lead the package layout design process • Collaborate with Circuit, Signal Integrity, RTL, Place and Route, substrate layout, and system design engineers and managers • Define chip floor plans, pad rings, substrates, and ball-outs • Implement a robust, world-class electrical package • Communicate effectively with teams throughout the company • Drive technology across multiple functions • Solve complex technical problems

🎯 Requirements

• BSEE or equivalent experience • Minimum of 8+ years in board/system design • Experience with package design preferred • Good understanding of transmission line theory, power delivery, and signal integrity desired • Programming and scripting skills in Perl, Python, and Tcl preferred • Cadence Skill and Excel familiarity useful and a plus • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Ability to solve complex technical problems
