📋 Description

• Provide strategic leadership, direction, and oversight of OCHIN’s Epic technical platform • Lead the Epic technical team covering Server Systems and Client Systems • Own reliability, performance, availability, and lifecycle management of the Epic technical environment • Oversee Epic operational database operations, backups, monitoring, performance, capacity planning, and high availability • Oversee Hyperspace, Hyperspace Web, and supporting Web and Service Servers • Ensure 24x7 operational coverage, incident response, escalation management, and after-hours support • Establish and improve monitoring, patching, access controls, configuration baselines, and runbooks • Own incident, problem, and change management, including root cause analysis and risk mitigation • Partner with Epic application owners and cross-functional IT leaders on capabilities, priorities, timelines, dependencies, and maintenance • Align projects and operational activities with organizational goals, budgets, and deadlines • Monitor and report service performance metrics and drive continuous improvement • Communicate technical performance, incidents, risks, and planned changes to leadership, stakeholders, and members • Oversee onboarding, training, and staff development • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and budget accountability • Support on-site Go Live installations or training as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering or operations • Experience supporting enterprise application platforms in 24x7 production environments • 3–5 years of experience managing a remote team of 10, including performance management, team development, and delivery ownership; required • Experience leading teams responsible for Epic technical infrastructure • Experience with Epic operational database operations, client and presentation tiers, or web and service servers • Experience supporting high-availability environments, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning and testing • Experience establishing and maintaining SLAs, reliability targets, and operational metrics • Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience leading enterprise change management practices • Experience with ITIL-based change, incident, and problem management processes • Experience managing or influencing technology costs, vendor relationships, and/or consumption management • Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office • High-speed Internet service • Ability to work in a distraction-free workplace • Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English • Ability to work on camera for all virtual meetings • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
