📋 Description

• Coordinate appointments with providers for patients, referring physicians, and facilities across multiple states • Communicate key information to patients and staff, including insurance coverage, financial responsibilities, and appointment dates/times • Provide warm, friendly, and excellent customer service • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments accurately using practice scheduling protocols and tools • Provide information about services to physicians and other callers • Respond promptly to patient, provider, and team member requests • Maintain and update patient information and knowledge of insurance protocols • Determine insurance benefits using eligibility systems, online websites, or phone calls • Explain benefits and financial obligations to patients and guarantors • Handle billing inquiries, collect out-of-pocket payments, and process payments • Communicate insurance issues and work with billing teams to correct coverage issues • Maintain insurance panels • Obtain approval for schedule changes or cancellations • Meet management-assigned goals and objectives • Escalate problems to management • Complete other duties based on patient needs

🎯 Requirements

• Must be bilingual Spanish speaking • Experience with insurance eligibility • Attention to detail • Strong organizational skills • Ability to multi-task and prioritize • Ability to work well with others in a team-driven environment • Ability to adhere to quality and productivity standards • Bachelor’s degree preferred
