📋 Description

• Lead, develop, and grow a team of engineers, designers, project managers, and technical leaders focused on specialty substation projects. • Lead through leaders by coaching and supporting team leads and senior engineering professionals. • Collaborate with market, operations, and technical team leaders to establish strategies supporting team growth and client success. • Drive recruiting, hiring, workforce planning, succession planning, and employee development initiatives. • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. • Build and strengthen relationships with mission critical, data center, industrial, and private-sector clients. • Support business development, including client engagement, market expansion, and strategic pursuits. • Drive group performance, resource allocation, utilization, and financial objectives. • Ensure projects meet high standards of quality, responsiveness, and technical excellence. • Identify and implement process improvements supporting scalability and operational efficiency. • Partner with technical leadership to advance engineering standards, best practices, and staff development.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering. • 8+ years of substation engineering experience. • 4+ years of experience leading and/or mentoring teams within an engineering consulting, utility, or infrastructure environment. • Experience leading through leaders, including project managers, supervisors, technical managers, or team leads (preferred). • Demonstrated success in talent development, team growth, and organizational leadership. • Strong business acumen with experience winning work, managing staffing, cultivating financial performance, and achieving operational goals. • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
