📋 Description

• Own client relationships for a portfolio of 100–200 MW of distributed solar assets post-PTO • Advise clients on preventive and corrective maintenance • Report on monthly asset performance with executive summaries and deeper technical explanations as needed • Convert DAS technical performance data into business narratives covering lost revenue, guarantee or incentive risk, cost avoidance, and increased revenue • Anticipate client and portfolio needs, manage expectations, and preserve relationships through service failures • Treat client retention, renewal, and portfolio health as cross-functional outcomes • Deliver service reports and support technicians completing field work • Create and manage Salesforce Cases and Work Orders for planned and unplanned service activities • Serve as the technical point of contact between clients, Performance Management, Field Operations, and Technical Operations • Track technical escalations and ensure timely client communication and follow-through • Determine appropriate escalation paths and flag systemic or recurring portfolio issues for fleet-level trend analysis • Maintain working knowledge of common failure modes and DAS alarm patterns • Advise clients on repair-versus-replace and warranty pursuit decisions • Manage the full asset lifecycle, including onboarding clients and assets, reporting obligations, technical support, service technicians, sales, and product development initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication, including professional email etiquette • Prior client success or customer service experience is a plus • Highly organized, able to drive multiple projects simultaneously and deliver quality work at volume • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Solid technical understanding of business operations and ability to quickly learn CRM, support ticketing, ERP, and BI tools • Familiarity with solar PV systems, including components, installation, monitoring, and performance troubleshooting • Ownership mentality, appropriate escalation, and client follow-up • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-mode environment and adapt quickly • Eager to keep learning and expanding skill set • 1+ years of experience in commercial operations and maintenance, asset management, field service management, or account management • 2+ years of experience in the solar energy industry • 3+ years of professional experience with proven professional acumen • Proven experience with client success and customer service • Experience with solar monitoring DAS platforms and alerts • Experience reading and interpreting solar system design drawings • Understanding of solar technology, monitoring systems, maintenance practices, and the solar industry landscape • Sponsorship is unavailable for this role, now or in the future
