📋 Description

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to customer standards; document findings and drive timely correction and closure • Audit engineering packages, including drawings, BOMs, build documentation, ECNs/changes, deviations, and supporting records, for compliance with customer requirements and internal procedures • Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages for safe installation practices, customer and regulatory compliance, and quality of work performed • Ensure version control and configuration alignment between customer requirements, released engineering documentation, and service deliverables • Track cost of poor-quality metrics and communicate with quotation, engineering, and execution teams to support corrective action and reduce cost of quality • Identify gaps, errors, and nonconformities; initiate corrective actions and partner with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Operations to implement fixes and prevent recurrence • Support TL 9000 metric collection, validation, and reporting for applicable service categories • Support internal surveillance audits by preparing checklists, gathering objective evidence, conducting process interviews, recording results, and tracking corrective actions to closure • Prepare audit summaries, trend analyses, and dashboards; communicate recurring issues and recommend process improvements • Maintain audit records, trackers, and evidence according to document retention, confidentiality, and customer-specific requirements • Report to the Services Quality Leader

🎯 Requirements

• Completion of high school diploma or GED • 5 years of experience in telecom industry requirements, including DC power installation/engineering, toll/fiber installation, project management, etc. • Experience auditing engineering documentation, including specifications, drawings, BOMs, and/or engineering change documentation, for accuracy and compliance • Working knowledge of quality management systems and audit practices, such as TL9000/ISO 9001 concepts, internal auditing, and corrective action • Ability to interpret customer requirements, standards, and contractual engineering deliverables • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis, for tracker maintenance and Cost of Quality calculations • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document clear, objective audit evidence and findings • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Familiarity with TL 9000 measurements and reporting processes • Experience with ERP/MRP, PLM/PDM, or document control systems used to manage engineering releases • Understanding of Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) categories and basic cost accounting concepts • Prior participation in internal surveillance audits or customer audits within manufacturing, repair, or service environments • Certification or training in internal auditing, such as ISO 9001 Internal Auditor • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Must not require or receive employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
