📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business leaders to align technical execution with business goals • Foster technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation • Drive software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions in an agile environment • Mentor and develop engineers • Lead and manage a software engineering team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations • Align with architecture and platform teams on technical strategies and implementation • Promote cross-functional collaboration • Monitor KPIs and metrics and report monthly to leadership • Track emerging technologies and integrate relevant innovations into the company’s IT infrastructure • Participate in software solution design and architecture • Ensure code efficiency, quality, and adherence to best practices • Work with developers, stakeholders, and clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance • Create and maintain software development lifecycle documentation • Use generative AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT to improve productivity and outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in a human capital leadership role • 3+ years of experience working with COBOL • Strong background building and maintaining SaaS applications at scale • Hands-on experience with Azure and modern development practices • Familiarity with version control systems; Git preferred • Experience with Agile methodologies; Kanban preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to balance technical leadership with business priorities and team dynamics
