📋 Description

• Design, build, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, React applications, and internal tools • Own major product features and technical improvements across the application stack • Support secure and reliable software delivery in a fintech environment • Deploy and support applications in cloud environments • Participate in CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, logging, and production support • Improve developer workflows, shared patterns, documentation, and engineering practices • Use AI-assisted development tools to improve quality, speed, documentation, code review, and delivery • Contribute to AI-enabled product features, workflow automation, and internal productivity tools • Collaborate in code reviews, design discussions, release planning, and troubleshooting • Champion OneEthos’s environmental, social, economic, and racial justice mission • Deliver high-quality results on time independently and collaboratively

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience • Experience building and maintaining backend services, APIs, web applications, or internal tools • Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, or comparable technologies • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar cloud platforms • Basic understanding of CI/CD, source control, testing, logging, monitoring, and production support • Ability to use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, CodeRabbit, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms • Commitment to environmental, social, economic, and racial justice • Interest in sustainability practices and willingness to pursue related education • Ability to communicate professionally with stakeholders at all organizational levels • Valid U.S. work authorization; the employer does not offer visa sponsorship • Ability to perform essential functions including sitting, talking, hearing, and occasionally lifting up to 2 lbs. • Ability to attend remote meetings and travel or work evenings and weekends as needed • Completion of cognitive and personality assessments • Credit and background checks before the final interview • References from former mentors and managers
