• Identify candidate OSP engineering/construction firms and manage bid/vendor selection and contract negotiation • Own tactical project management, including schedules, regular project calls, bonds, and internal permit signatures • Provide build cost estimates for the sales team • Perform service delivery functions, including customer updates, site access coordination, and close-out package preparation • Conduct site walks with customers and vendors • Secure timely approvals from local, state, and federal permitting agencies • Direct and coordinate environmental requirements, tasks, and activities • Manage environmental engineering vendors and related subcontractors during permitting • Document splicing requirements and maintain fiber engineering documentation • Specify and procure optics components for contractor installation • Maintain network maps in the proprietary geospatial project management platform, including design changes and final as-built routes • Provide accurate network maps to state 811 agencies and the NOC • Manage network maintenance and relocation projects, including emergency maintenance
• 5+ years of experience in project management, fiber network engineering, or telecom infrastructure deployment • Ability to develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Vendor management and communication skills, including running RFPs, selecting contractors, and negotiating terms • Experience with OSP fiber project management, permitting, construction oversight, and service delivery coordination • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and mapping tools such as Google Earth or similar GIS platforms • Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available • Must currently reside in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, or Washington • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field preferred • Familiarity with environmental permitting processes and regulations preferred • Experience with proprietary geospatial or project management platforms preferred • Working knowledge of fiber optic equipment, network architecture, and splicing documentation preferred • Experience supporting state 811 programs, NOC coordination, and network maintenance or relocation efforts preferred • Hyperscale data center or hyperscale infrastructure project experience is a strong plus • Ability to sit and work at a desk for extended periods using a computer and office equipment • Ability to perform fine motor tasks, such as typing or using a mouse, for extended periods
• $110,000–$155,000 base annually, depending on experience • Full-Time, Exempt staff position with direct hire • Remote work • Monday through Friday schedule • Occasional weekend availability as needed • Up to 10% travel for out-of-town meetings, training, or outreach activities
