📋 Description

• Focus on California air permitting and reporting • Report to the principal in charge of California permitting and compliance services and work on a team of ten professionals • Perform air permitting, emission inventories, GHG management, compliance management programs, compliance audits, junior staff supervision, regulatory development and compliance strategies, field audits, project management, and project budgeting • Plan multiple projects simultaneously and serve as senior technical lead • Supervise staff-level professionals and technicians • Estimate personnel needs, assign work, meet completion dates, and ensure consistent application of firm standards • Coordinate technical staff operations by assigning, monitoring, and reviewing work • Provide technical guidance and direct efforts • Oversee project document deliverables, technical report writing, data interpretation, and graphical presentations • Consult with clients to prepare plans, reports, and assessments • Independently evaluate, select, adapt, and modify standard techniques, procedures, and criteria • Manage project budgets and hours and complete tasks within assigned timeframes • Act as client manager, understand customer needs, and distribute assignments and proposals to appropriate teams • Communicate issues to leadership that may affect schedules and budgets • Maintain confidentiality • Keep current on industry trends through training, publications, and workshops • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Science or Engineering or at minimum 10 years direct experience • Associate of Science degree in Science or Engineering or at minimum 15 years direct experience • Direct experience including project, client, and program management and air quality permitting experience in California • Certified as Agency Permitting Professional, such SCAQMD Certified Permitting Professional (CPP) is a desirable but not required
