📋 Description

• Design and maintain scalable dbt data models in Snowflake as trusted sources of truth • Architect data pipelines and transformation workflows using Fivetran and modern ELT practices • Develop durable, extensible data assets that evolve with company growth • Establish modeling standards, documentation practices, and governance frameworks • Partner with RevOps and Finance to define and operationalize SaaS metrics such as ARR, retention, expansion, and pipeline • Build data foundations for internal AI applications and LLM-enabled workflows • Prototype and productionize AI-driven operational use cases • Integrate analytics and AI into workflows using Notion, Cursor, Glean, and emerging platforms • Design systems that embed data into operational processes • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Engineering leaders to translate business needs into scalable technical systems • Create reusable data assets enabling activation via Hightouch and analysis via Omni • Ensure architecture is scalable, secure, and adaptable to evolving enterprise requirements • Help shape Ontic’s AI-augmented analytics capability and how analytics and AI power the company

🎯 Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar hands-on roles • Strong SQL skills • Deep understanding of modern data modeling, including dimensional modeling, transformations, and data contracts • Experience building in cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift • Comfort working in a fast-moving, evolving AI tooling landscape • Systems-level thinking focused on scalability, extensibility, and flexibility • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across business and technical teams • Experience with Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, Hightouch, Omni, Notion, Cursor, or Glean is helpful but not required • Experience with Pendo, Amplitude, Heap, or Mixpanel is nice to have • Must understand and adhere to Ontic Security and Privacy related policies • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States • Must answer the application question about a data model or pipeline built for others to rely on
