⢠Serve as the clinical subject matter expert for product and project teams, providing guidance on clinical workflows, clinical knowledge, and best practices for clinical data ⢠Design, build, test, and update clinical data assets that provide clinical decision support and drive clinical workflows ⢠Ensure clinical data assets remain accurate, complete, and clinically valid over time ⢠Translate clinical requirements into workflow and informatics/data specifications ⢠Validate that delivered features reflect sound clinical reasoning ⢠Analyze clinical data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities ⢠Enhance decision support logic and workflow automation based on clinical data analysis ⢠Review technical specifications for clinical workflow applications and provide clinical informatics input ⢠Support product managers as a subject matter expert and individual contributor for clinical application products ⢠Maintain and curate mappings to standardized clinical and medical vocabularies ⢠Collaborate with clinical, product, and engineering stakeholders to ensure data-driven features are safe, usable, and clinically meaningful ⢠Partner with clinical leadership on guideline development, clinical content governance, quality improvements, and product enhancements ⢠Work with Quality and Clinical Training/Education teams to improve clinical workflows and collaboratively design and implement solutions ⢠Perform other duties as assigned
⢠Active, unrestricted clinical license required (e.g., MD/DO, PharmD, NP, PA) ⢠Current board certification in the relevant clinical discipline required ⢠5+ years of clinical practice experience required ⢠5+ years of hands-on clinical informatics experience, including data development, data analysis, and data maintenance ⢠Strong working knowledge of clinical workflows ⢠Experience working in or with multiple EHR systems ⢠Demonstrated clinical informatics experience blending clinical knowledge with data development to support clinical decision-making and workflows ⢠High proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL required ⢠Knowledge of and/or experience with FHIR, the FHIR resource model, and FHIRpath syntax ⢠Computer proficiency with Google Suite, Zoom, Zoho, Notion, Slack, and similar platforms ⢠Strong analytical skills and attention to detail ⢠Ability to reason through complex clinical and data-modeling problems ⢠Excellent verbal and written communication skills ⢠Ability to translate between clinical and technical audiences ⢠Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams and stakeholders ⢠Ability to quickly pivot in a rapidly growing startup environment ⢠Formal training in clinical informatics, such as graduate coursework, a certificate, or board certification in Clinical Informatics, strongly preferred ⢠Experience building or maintaining clinical content, terminology mappings, or decision-support data sets strongly preferred ⢠Experience working with Claude/Claude Code or other AI models for data design, QA, and integrity is a plus ⢠Experience as an informaticist for a clinical data or medical vocabulary company is a plus
