📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted partner to Optiv’s clients • Design pragmatic, scalable security solutions aligned with clients’ security initiatives • Drive services and technologies business to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota objectives • Maintain advanced knowledge of client security environments, business operations, security needs, and risk appetite • Identify client security concerns and correlate them with Optiv’s strategic solutions • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across clients and partner relationships • Qualify leads, determine scope, manage proposals, and follow opportunities through closure • Articulate how Optiv’s technology and services portfolio meets client stakeholder needs • Monitor industry trends and the security landscape to provide thought leadership and guidance • Collaborate with service delivery teams on domain-specialty materials • Develop security strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals, budgets, and ROI metrics • Maintain advisory relationships with client stakeholders, technology partners, peers, and the cyber community • Drive complete security programs through requirements gathering, technology selection, demonstrations, evaluations, and cross-organizational solutions • Align client expectations with Optiv’s full solution portfolio to ensure service delivery excellence and client satisfaction • Identify emerging technologies for internal enablement and client exposure • Promote Optiv’s portfolio and security awareness at speaking events, partner events, and through social media • Share client feedback with internal teams to support continuous improvement • Participate in account planning, forecasting, and pipeline management • Manage and prioritize proposal processes, including business proposals, contracts, and RFI/RFP responses • Pursue personal development through education, certifications, and other avenues • Apply advanced sales techniques to facilitate meetings, overcome objections, position solutions, and finalize sales

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA or equivalent and applicable work experience • Minimum of eight (8) years in an information security role, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer • Thorough understanding of the current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and defensive controls • Strong business and technical acumen • Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills, including whiteboard sessions and other presentation mechanisms • Strong attention to detail for reviewing statements of work (SOWs), quotes, and client deliverables • Broad security-related knowledge and continuous expertise expansion across portfolio domains • Vendor-specific certification(s) focused primarily on specialty • Up to 40% travel required • Ability to work in a highly adaptable and nimble team environment with responsive communication
