📋 Description

• Drive pipeline generation of AI-related services and technology business to meet or exceed quota objectives • Follow Optiv standardized sales operating processes • Maintain knowledge of clients’ security environments, business operations, security needs, and risk appetite • Identify AI-related security concerns and applications of AI security tools, aligning them with Optiv’s strategic solutions • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across clients and partner relationships • Qualify, lead, and partner with internal colleagues on scope, proposal management, and deal closure • Participate in sales opportunities across Optiv’s portfolio involving AI products, services, and advisement • Articulate how Optiv’s AI technology and services portfolio meets client stakeholders’ needs at an executive level • Monitor industry trends and the AI landscape to provide thought leadership, support, analysis, and guidance • Collaborate with service delivery to develop consistent AI domain-specialty materials • Maintain advisory relationships with client stakeholders alongside sales partners • Maintain working relationships with relevant Optiv technology partners • Align client AI expectations with Optiv’s solution portfolio to support implementation, delivery excellence, and client satisfaction • Identify emerging AI technologies and products for internal enablement and client exposure • Promote Optiv’s portfolio and security awareness through speaking events, partner events, industry articles, and social media • Build a reputation as a trusted advisor across clients, partners, peers, and the cybersecurity community • Share client feedback with internal teams to support continuous improvement • Participate in account planning, forecasting, and pipeline management for AI growth • Manage and prioritize proposal processes, including business proposals, contracts, and RFI/RFP responses • Pursue ongoing technical, soft-skill, and security-specific development through education, certification, and other avenues • Use expert sales techniques to build connections, facilitate meetings, understand client needs, overcome objections, position solutions, and finalize sales

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA or equivalent and applicable work experience • Minimum of eight (8) years in an information security role, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer • At least 3 years specifically focused on Network Security solutions • Thorough understanding of the current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and defensive controls as they pertain to AI • Strong business and technical acumen with ability to lead technology-focused AI discussions • Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills, including whiteboard sessions and other presentation mechanisms • Strong attention to detail for reviewing SOWs, quotes, and client deliverables • Vendor-specific certification(s) focused primarily on AI and related areas of CoE focus • Ability to work in-person and remotely with distributed teams in a decentralized environment • Valid driver’s license • Ability to travel within the US and Canada, as well as internationally as needed • CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM, CCSP or other relevant professional cybersecurity certifications desired • Experience speaking about and evangelizing technology and AI thought leadership and vision at events • Previous experience leading an information security function or program • Organizational membership and participation in chapter meetings such as ISACA and ISSA
