📋 Description

• Develop substation design packages for clients across the US • Prepare, provide guidance, or assist in preparing and developing drawing packages for electric substation projects • Work on projects ranging from small distribution equipment upgrades to large transmission projects • Organize multiple assignments and competing priorities to produce accurate products on time • Collaborate in cross-functional project teams with drafters, engineers, and designers • Support teams of designers and drafters and assume responsibility for their success on projects • Perform quality reviews and peer checks as assigned • Perform other substation design-related assignments as needed • Work successfully in a remote setting

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma • Drafter I: 0+ years related experience • Drafter II: 5+ years related experience • Experience in Computer-Aided Design Software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products • Excellent problem-solving skills • Knowledge of drafting standards, techniques, and procedures, including manipulation of raster drawings • Capable of completion of projects under direct guidance of senior employees • Ability to complete tasks on-time and on budget • Foundational understanding of primary CAD/BIM software AutoCAD, ACADE, and/or MicroStation • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional work teams • Ability to successfully work with remotely located team members • Ability to pass a post-offer drug (including marijuana) and alcohol test in compliance with Federal regulations • Subject to random testing as a condition of continued employment
