📋 Description

• Report to the Regional Director, Dermatology • Hire, lead, develop, and retain Dermatology Sales Representatives in the assigned district • Work inter-departmentally to ensure consistent sales performance exceeding forecasts and product-goal expectations • Develop, implement, and measure strategic business plans to meet sales objectives and regulatory standards • Meet or exceed designated product and portfolio sales goals through direct management of sales representatives • Provide regular performance updates to sales directors • Participate in face-to-face customer sales calls with representatives an average of four days per week • Plan and execute district sales meetings • Conduct routine performance evaluations • Participate in company-sponsored events and meetings • Recruit, select, and train Sales Representatives • Develop coaching measurements for immediate and sustained performance review • Lead, coach, and provide career development plans for district representatives • Analyze sales data, performance, and trends • Formulate and implement strategies to create product demand and sales revenue • Monitor and evaluate competitor activities and products • Provide progress updates to home-office groups and respond to district-business information requests • Identify marketplace opportunities, share best practices, and communicate across the organization • Develop positive team norms aligned with company culture, behaviors, and performance • Monitor and control district expenditures to meet budget requirements • Liaise between the district, field sales management, Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, and other departments • Develop and maintain relationships with key healthcare professionals throughout the district • Cover Nashville, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh markets in the Ohio Valley district

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required • Minimum of seven years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience • Three years of sales leadership/management experience • Experience in the Dermatology market strongly preferred • Successful leadership record of hiring, coaching, developing, retaining and promoting top talent • Proven ability to effectively lead team performance • Demonstrated success and positive track record as a District Sales Manager in complex markets within complex systems • Strong understanding of payer environment, reimbursement, and national, regional, and local payer markets, including government programs, managed health care, and evolving health care systems • Proven ability to develop physician and key customer relationships • Ability to partner and collaborate with internal departments and partners • Ability to travel extensively with local and regional influence • Regular overnight travel may be required depending on geographic locations • Must be a US or Puerto Rico resident • Must be able to satisfy applicable travel and credentialing requirements, including vaccination prerequisites • Valid driving license required
