📋 Description

• Promote and distribute Orthofix products and services to achieve or exceed established sales quotas for total and individual product segments • Provide direct, personal, timely, consultative service to physicians, patients, managed care organizations, and other payers • Provide education and support at local and national hospital accounts • Attend local, state, and national meetings and conventions as needed • Develop new target accounts and maintain existing physician and third-party payer accounts • Train medical personnel and patients in the proper use and care of Orthofix products • Continually develop technical and sales skills and maintain proficiency in Orthofix products, clinical tools, and sales tools • Prepare reports and execute programs and policies under the direction of the Regional VP of Sales and National VP of Sales • Provide timely service and problem-solving to clinicians and patients • Complete paperwork required to execute sales orders, including patient prescriptions and letters of medical necessity from surgeons

🎯 Requirements

• Candidate must be based in the Memphis, TN area • 1–3 years of sales experience • Related medical experience calling on physician offices and hospitals is a plus • Demonstrated success selling through managed healthcare or insurance payer environments is a plus • Ability to articulate effectively with poise, depth of thought, good judgment, and decision-making • Ability to present to individuals and larger groups • Ability to advise management on policy and procedure issues • Bachelor's degree preferred • Must be able to lift and transport products and literature repeatedly throughout each day • Lifting capacity of approximately 20–30 pounds • Travel required within territory by car approximately 90% • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required when traveling by car
