📋 Description

• Manage contracts with key healthcare providers in Oscar's network • Build and maintain a robust network in the assigned market/region • Analyze provider performance and negotiate reimbursement rates • Engage prospective providers to support network growth and recruiting • Assist with resolution of provider issues • Support cost-saving initiatives • Execute the local network strategy • Ensure providers have information and support needed to provide member care • Implement contracting strategies aligned with network adequacy, development, and cost management objectives • Manage and negotiate assigned healthcare provider contracts • Review and analyze provider contracts to identify improvement and optimization opportunities • Use provider financial and competitor strategy data to inform negotiation and contracting decisions • Meet provider outreach and contract completion metrics and SLAs • Collaborate with provider services on servicing, education, and communication • Monitor assigned networks for compliance and develop corrective action plans • Comply with applicable laws and regulations • Report to the Manager, Network Contracting

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare client management, healthcare consulting, provider healthcare contracting, healthcare operations, or a related field • 2+ years of experience supporting provider network strategy development and negotiating provider contracts • 1+ years experience running financial analyses on markets or product lines and working cross-functionally to support driving improvement opportunities • 1+ years experience navigating and organizing large data sets such as claim files and provider rosters • Associate's degree or equivalent professional working experience is listed as a bonus point
