📋 Description

• Negotiate and manage contracts with healthcare providers to build and maintain robust networks • Ensure access to quality care and optimize costs through provider performance analysis and reimbursement-rate negotiations • Support network growth and provider recruiting by engaging prospective providers • Assist with resolving provider issues and cost-saving initiatives • Support the design and execution of local network strategy • Provide providers with information and support for best-in-class member care • Implement contracting strategies aligned with network adequacy, development, and cost-management objectives • Serve as a subject matter expert to contracting specialists and/or analysts • Review and analyze provider contracts to identify improvement and optimization opportunities • Use provider financial and competitor-strategy data to inform negotiations • Mentor and support development of junior team members • Support contracting policies, workflows, metrics, and SLAs • Collaborate with provider services on network servicing, education, and communication • Monitor networks for compliance and develop corrective action plans • Comply with applicable laws and regulations and perform other assigned duties • Report to the Director, Network Contracting & Services

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare client management, healthcare consulting, provider healthcare contracting, healthcare operations, or a related field • 2+ years of experience supporting provider network strategy development and negotiating provider contracts • 1+ years of experience running financial analyses on markets or product lines and working cross-functionally to support improvement opportunities • 1+ years of experience navigating and organizing large data sets such as claim files and provider rosters • Residence in Arizona, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia • Frequent local travel for client meetings • Associate's degree or equivalent professional working experience (bonus points)
