📋 Description

• Lead a team of direct and indirect reports focused on negotiating, executing, and analyzing healthcare provider contracts • Maintain and enhance the provider network while meeting accessibility, quality, and financial goals • Handle dispute resolution and settlement negotiations • Collaborate with providers, hospitals, and health systems to achieve successful contracting outcomes • Support cost-saving initiatives and provider network growth for a defined market or region • Drive contracting strategies aligned with network adequacy, development, and cost management objectives • Lead contract settlement negotiations • Manage and negotiate complex healthcare provider contracts • Oversee, mentor, train, and develop contracting managers, associates, and specialists • Review and analyze provider contracts to identify improvement and optimization opportunities • Apply knowledge of provider financial issues and competitor strategies to contracting decisions • Implement contracting policies, workflows, and efficient processes • Monitor network performance, cost, and provider satisfaction metrics; report to leadership • Resolve provider issues related to contract terms, reimbursement, and network participation • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations • Report to the Director, Network Contracting

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in healthcare network contracting, including executing contracts with health systems, hospitals or national providers, provider relations, or network management • 4+ years of experience managing complex Provider Network strategies and negotiating complex contracts • 3+ years of leadership experience • 3+ years experience in Health Insurance (Individual and/or Medicare Advantage) and/or Healthcare industry • Reside in Arizona, Missouri or Texas • Frequent local travel for client meetings • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional working experience (bonus points)
