📋 Description

• Holistically evaluate domestic and international applications for acceptance into The Ohio State University Honors Program • Develop a thorough understanding of Honors Program enrollment goals, policies, and procedures • Read, review, and evaluate application credentials • Enter recommendations for completed reviews into the online review site weekly • Complete assigned files through a secure online review site and submit recommendations electronically • Attend mandatory monthly trainings, individual coaching sessions, and other meetings during normal university business hours • Remain current with procedural and guideline changes affecting the review process • Maintain confidentiality and security of admission files and university materials • Review an average of 80 files per week, with additional files possible during January and February

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in counseling, human relations, or education • Reasonable knowledge of high school guidance or teaching experience • Successful completion of a background check • Must be an Ohio resident and live in the state of Ohio while serving in the role • Flexible work schedule averaging 14–18 hours per week, with some January and February weeks requiring up to 20 hours • Commitment to completing the needed files per week and attending all virtual required trainings and meetings • 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred • Drug screen or physical may be required during the post-offer process
