⢠Contribute to ecosystem strategic business plans and identify vital stakeholders ⢠Provide clinical, scientific, and health economic information related to CNS disease states and appropriate use of approved Otsuka products ⢠Engage key influencers, local practice leaders, healthcare providers, and patient groups ⢠Contribute to customization of regional business strategy for local ecosystem needs ⢠Address medical and educational requirements of customers ⢠Cover multiple products within the CNS therapeutic area and conduct broad clinical and scientific discussions ⢠Contribute clinical and scientific perspectives to local execution plans and coordinate field activities ⢠Build and cultivate relationships with scientific and medical customers and organizations across the ecosystem ⢠Develop and maintain comprehensive understanding of the ecosystem and align with Otsuka's patient-centric strategy ⢠Provide evidence-based information on the clinical, economic, and humanistic value of Otsuka and its products ⢠Build internal matrix-team relationships and execute local medical strategies ⢠Disseminate disease-state and healthcare-landscape information to customers ⢠Provide clinical and data-focused training for promotional and disease-state speakers ⢠Support Otsuka's speaker bureau ⢠Collect and submit medical insights for decision-making and evidence-generation prioritization ⢠Assist with clinical trials, including registrational, post-marketing, investigator-sponsored trials, and health economic outcomes research ⢠Mentor peers and new hires ⢠Support Safety & Pharmacovigilance, Sales Training medical education, and the Field Medical Center of Excellence
⢠MD/DO, PharmD, or PhD in life sciences, or Master's degree with equivalent psychiatry or CNS clinical experience ⢠Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience ⢠Understanding of the interconnectivity of health systems and overall delivery of patient care ⢠Experience working with healthcare professionals and other decision makers ⢠Strong business acumen and knowledge of the industry, Otsuka's business model and value proposition, key competitors, and marketplace dynamics ⢠Excellent communication and collaboration skills ⢠Strong conflict resolution skills ⢠Ability to lead others and project teams strategically ⢠Ability to summarize and communicate complex information and business objectives concisely and effectively ⢠Strong understanding of industry legal, regulatory, and compliance landscape ⢠Ability to work in an ambiguous environment undergoing transformation ⢠Behaviors aligned with Otsuka Corporate Brand, including Perseverance, Unconventional Thinking, and Humility ⢠Ability to travel by air or car up to 70% of the time, depending upon territory size ⢠Preferred living location is a key city in the territory
