📋 Description

• Review architectural, structural and civil drawings, specifications and tender documentation to understand project requirements • Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs and pricing schedules for prospective construction projects • Perform accurate take-offs for concrete, civil, earthworks and associated construction activities • Use Bluebeam and other estimating software to measure, quantify and document project requirements • Develop detailed cost estimates incorporating materials, labour, subcontractors, equipment and other project costs • Assist with tender preparation, pricing submissions and estimating documentation for projects not yet awarded • Review supplier and subcontractor pricing and identify discrepancies, risks or opportunities within estimates • Maintain accurate estimating records, pricing databases and project documentation while supporting continuous improvement of estimating processes

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction estimating, ideally within concrete and civil works • Strong practical knowledge of construction methodologies, concrete works, civil works and site operations • Demonstrated experience preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates and tender pricing schedules • Proficiency with Bluebeam • Experience using other construction estimating or take-off software highly regarded • Strong ability to interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications and tender documentation • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
