📋 Description

• Own backend services and data pipelines powering Grader scans end-to-end • Ingest third-party presence signals from Google, Yelp, menus, and LLM GEO signals • Serve Grader results reliably at scale • Reduce latency and increase uptime before platform expansion • Build observability and alerting layers for scaling Grader into new scoring dimensions • Establish shared abstractions, operational runbooks, and architectural patterns • Partner with the PLG product and AI Agents teams as Grader evolves into an AI-powered tool for restaurant owners

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience, with meaningful time owning backend services in production • Experience building and operating data pipelines, third-party integrations, and async processing systems at scale • Proven track record improving system reliability through observability, alerting, incident reduction, and operational health practices • Experience at a product-focused startup or scale-up owning systems end-to-end • High degree of cross-functional collaboration • Strong sense of ownership and drive • Excellent communication • Proactive approach to identifying and solving problems • Must be permanently based in the United States or Canada • Must disclose whether visa sponsorship is required now or in the future
