📋 Description

• Create opportunities and generate demand for a new hospital antibiotic within a designated territory • Educate formulary decision-makers, key stakeholders, and healthcare providers about clinical advantages • Secure formulary adoption and uptake within the institutional IV antibiotic space • Drive formulary access and sales at leading U.S. hospital institutions • Engage healthcare professionals in institutional environments • Develop and execute account-specific strategies to increase awareness and availability of anti-infective products • Function independently to drive sales performance and meet or exceed territory expectations • Educate healthcare professionals about clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy and safety profiles • Develop, execute, and monitor territory and business plans • Target key stakeholders within accounts to expand product usage and the customer base • Identify business opportunities and present value propositions aligned with customer needs • Advance hospitals and customers through the sales continuum and gain prescriber commitments • Demonstrate knowledge of promoted products, competitive brands, disease states, patient profiles, and treatment pathways • Collaborate in a complex, matrixed selling environment with Market Access, Medical, Marketing, and Operations • Develop and execute pull-through strategies to increase appropriate product adoption and usage • Use data tools, insights, and other informational sources for business decision-making • Accurately and timely report activities and account details in CRM technology • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, values, and applicable laws • Manage territory budgets, Speaker Programs allocations, samples, and other resources • Complete required training, acknowledgements, call reports, expense reports, and administrative duties

🎯 Requirements

• Documented and measurable track record of sales performance, including meeting or exceeding territory performance goals • Account-based selling experience within the assigned territory • Strong understanding of how hospital products are purchased, ordered, and administered • Knowledge of formulary processes and reimbursement policies • Ability to understand and navigate hospital systems to gain access to key decision makers • Experience calling on infectious disease, critical care, and hospitalists • Experience establishing hospital product formulary approval through P&T committees within the IV antibiotic or related category • Proven ability to understand, articulate, and routinely present complex scientific information • Strong presentation, organization, administrative, and communication skills • Experience utilizing and optimizing CRM systems • Prior experience promoting newly launched products • Safe driving record and valid driver’s license required • Demonstrated effective time management, organizational, and communication skills • Demonstrated judgment and decision-making capability • Bachelor’s degree in business or BS/MS in life sciences preferred, with experience in sales, marketing, or product management; or equivalent skills and experience required • 3 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry • 7+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a minimum of 5+ years of sales experience within the hospital setting, ideally with anti-infectives • Antibiotic account management experience strongly preferred, or clinical experience such as nurse or pharmacist • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • CRM experience • Up to 65% overnight travel • Field-based role requiring remote working
