📋 Description

• Direct day-to-day functions of the nursing facility according to federal, state, and local standards and regulations • Oversee quality care and analyze the entire nursing facility operation • Manage overall operational functioning of the facility • Monitor daily census • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct facility programs and activities • Develop reporting on budget projections, revenue, and expenses and ensure budget conformance • Develop and maintain written policies, procedures, and professional standards • Develop policies and procedures and hold direct reports accountable • Model the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values • Build relationships with community groups and local hospital leadership • Monitor industry regulations, laws, and compliance updates • Monitor staffing levels and execution of policy and procedural changes • Resolve HR issues and risk management situations • Oversee capital improvements and participate in advisory committees • Ensure personnel, residents, and visitors follow safety, fire prevention, smoking, and infection-control regulations • Develop and maintain a strong industry and community reputation • Collaborate with HR, Therapy, Clinical, and Finance support teams • Negotiate vendor contracts • Support clinical quality-assurance efforts and accountability • Monitor collections and accounts receivable daily • Develop and execute ideas to increase employee engagement and minimize turnover • Review quality measures regularly • Support survey teams and provide information to prevent or reduce deficiency citations • Conduct meetings during facility inspections to discuss findings and corrective-action plans • Review exit-conference deficiencies and provide additional information • Assist with plans of correction, including timetables and monitoring methods • Manage and oversee multiple levels of employees, including hiring, training, budgeting, performance appraisal, rewards, discipline, complaint resolution, problem-solving, and terminations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent • Master’s Degree or MBA preferred • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals • Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers and employees • Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations • Ability to solve practical problems involving limited standardization • Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule instructions • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products • Must maintain licensing credentials for an Administrator • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Prolonged use of desktop or laptop computer • Frequent use of office equipment including copier/scanner/fax, telephone, and calculator
