📋 Description

• Partner with product and design stakeholders to vet logging-product direction and drive team alignment and prioritization • Manage projects across product and infrastructure roadmaps • Establish delivery sequencing and drive day-to-day execution against priorities • Balance work across individual contributors and create a healthy team environment • Support and hire a team of 10+ engineers through feedback, coaching, and performance management • Remove execution barriers and improve team efficiency and velocity • Own production reliability for the product area, including uptime, tools, focus, and operational processes • Collaborate with other engineering leaders on organizational initiatives • Learn Chronosphere’s platform, customer needs, architecture, distributed storage systems, ongoing projects, and roadmap • Contribute to small features during onboarding to gain familiarity with the technology stack • Take ownership of the area roadmap, establish priorities and delivery plans, and drive strategic initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Solid track record of developing and nurturing strong engineering teams • Hands-on technical ability to navigate and contribute to the engineering roadmap • Experience partnering with product and design • Ability to turn ambiguity into clear direction and team priorities through alignment and accountability • Ability to establish and change processes to empower the team • Experience translating high-level requirements into execution plans with successful delivery • Familiarity with enterprise software and software as a service • Understanding of building, validating, releasing, and operating highly reliable services for demanding business customers • Experience coaching and developing software engineers of varied backgrounds and levels • Empathy and understanding of how to support engineers to do their best work • Ability to support and hire a team of 10+ engineers • Must not require immigration sponsorship; the employer will not sponsor work visas
