📋 Description

• Design, implement, and test enhancements to the metric API, telemetry collection agents, and core ingestion pipeline • Use Go on Kubernetes and GCP • Collaborate across product, design, and infrastructure to define the architectural and technical roadmap of the metrics platform • Improve team reliability and software quality practices through direct mentorship, program development, and development infrastructure • Build operational tooling for authored code • Work with the cloud infrastructure team to manage code in production • Design and implement telemetry collection agents and ingestion pipelines handling hundreds of millions of writes per second • Build highly available API platforms and telemetry collection agents optimized for memory, CPU, and network efficiency • Develop secure, defensible, debuggable, and operable code for cloud and customer environments

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record building high-quality, highly scalable systems • Experience building sophisticated application services • Strong skills in a systems-level language such as Go, C++, Java, C#, or Rust • Ability to independently own projects from inception to delivery, including planning, gathering requirements, and collaborating with Product • Experience mentoring junior engineers • Flexible, collaborative working style • No immigration sponsorship; applicants must not require work visa sponsorship
