⢠Independently manage high-volume, complex batch processes, including quarterly auto rollovers, plan-term auto rollovers, monthly residual auto rollovers, quarterly loan defaults, involuntary cash-outs, and annual 5498 filings ⢠Oversee the monthly 1099-R audit process for assigned custodians ⢠Resolve stale-dated checks for designated paying agents by coordinating with internal teams and external partners ⢠Review and clear outstanding cash items related to batch processing and reconcile them accurately and on time ⢠Identify batch-process improvement opportunities and collaborate with the Process Owner to document requirements and support development initiatives ⢠Build and customize Salesforce reports and monitor daily dashboards for project status and operational performance ⢠Manage and resolve cases in the batch processing queue according to SLA standards ⢠Serve as the subject matter expert for Trade Agent processes ⢠Research historical activity and coordinate with vendors and internal/external partners to resolve project-related issues ⢠Communicate with partners by phone or email for follow-up and issue resolution ⢠Apply IRS regulations related to retirement accounts and tax reporting ⢠Perform additional duties and support special projects as assigned
⢠5+ years of retirement industry experience, including at least 5 years processing distributions, loans, and related participant transactions ⢠3+ years of experience using Relius and Salesforce ⢠Experience processing disbursements across multiple Relius paying agents preferred ⢠Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience ⢠Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment ⢠Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills ⢠Ability to research, resolve, and communicate complex operational issues ⢠Ability to extract, validate, reconcile, analyze, and report data from Relius, Salesforce, and other business systems ⢠Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and procedural adherence ⢠Ability to meet operational deadlines and processing cutoffs ⢠Excellent verbal and written communication skills ⢠Ability to collaborate with internal partners, leadership, clients, and external business partners ⢠Ability to adapt to changing priorities, business needs, and process improvements ⢠Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive client, participant, and plan information ⢠Flexibility to work overtime and varied schedules as business needs require ⢠Advanced Excel proficiency, validated through a practical interview assessment ⢠Ability to import and prepare data from text files, CSV files, and other external sources ⢠Ability to clean, transform, and organize large datasets ⢠Ability to match and reconcile data across multiple reports and systems ⢠Ability to identify, analyze, and report exception populations ⢠Ability to create reporting and analytical outputs with minimal supervision ⢠Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis ⢠Proficiency with Power Query, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, IF/IFS, CONCAT/TEXTJOIN, LEN/LEFT/RIGHT/MID, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS, SUMIF/SUMIFS, sorting, filtering, data validation, and Text-to-Columns ⢠Knowledge of general data analysis and reporting techniques ⢠Ability to meet remote-work expectations: uninterrupted virtual workspace, family care during business hours, and internet speed of 50 MBps or better
