📋 Description

• Maintain generators, diagnose and repair problems, and install or replace components or entire systems • Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance to ensure readiness • Follow design specifications to install or repair equipment • Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring, and controls • Test equipment for proper operation • Respond promptly to power/generator alarms • Be on call 24/7 if necessary • Perform work safely using required safety equipment • Participate in safety and training meetings • Service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of one year of work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance; three or more years preferred • Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair • Familiarity with electronic, mechanical, and electrical components • Basic knowledge of relevant FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations • Ability to comply with OSHA standards • Ability to lift over 50 pounds and stand for long periods • Capability to drive long distances and work flexible hours, including on-call duties • Able to pass a DOT physical examination • Open to travel • Able to work independently as a self-starter
