📋 Description

• Troubleshoot and repair utility-scale solar systems, including inverters, combiner boxes, and string circuits • Perform LOTO, IV curve tracing, megger/insulation testing, and IR scans • Lead and direct field technicians on active solar farm sites • Assign work, track progress, and keep jobs on schedule • Perform operations and maintenance on utility-scale solar plants • Inspect completed work for quality and safety compliance • Enforce OSHA and NFPA 70E safety requirements on-site • Diagnose system issues and resolve them in the field • Complete work orders, service logs, and required documentation • Operate and maintain the company vehicle and tools • Train and support junior technicians in the field

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of utility-scale solar experience on solar farms or ground-mount systems • Experience leading crews or acting as lead technician on-site • Experience working on megawatt-scale PV systems, not residential rooftop solar • Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills involving inverters, DC systems, and power electronics • Experience with solar operations and maintenance work • Working knowledge of OSHA and NFPA 70E safety standards • Experience using multimeters, meggers, amp clamps, and testing equipment • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs • Willingness and ability to travel 100% to solar farm sites • Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, dust, and other weather conditions • Must follow all OSHA and company safety requirements
