📋 Description

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades/revisions on Level 2 EV chargers and DC Fast Chargers • Perform insulation testing, thermal imagery, torque tests, and performance evaluations • Troubleshoot system performance issues and locate/isolate ground faults • Coordinate with the Planning and Scheduling team to adhere to maintenance schedules • Complete work orders accurately and on time • Review site manuals and drawings for proper equipment service and maintenance • Perform electrical and mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance • Complete site field reports and document all site issues in the work order system • Address site issues in a timely manner • Perform site safety assessments and complete required safety documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Must live within one hour of San Jose, California • 2+ years’ equivalent experience in servicing electrical power equipment in the commercial or utility energy field and/or formal electrical training • Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills • Technical knowledge of EV chargers, solar power installations, or other applicable power electronics preferred, but not required • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) • Strong Microsoft Office skills • Ability to analyze and resolve problems independently • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English • Ability to work in all weather conditions • Ability to work around high voltages and currents • Must wear personal protective equipment, including a hard hat and safety glasses • Ability to perform repetitive use of legs, arms, hands, and fingers • Ability to conduct site safety assessments and identify safety hazards • Ability to generate and complete JHA, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), and other safety-related documentation according to OSHA and site-specific requirements
