📋 Description

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments across the care team using EHR and scheduling systems • Respond to patient inquiries regarding appointment availability and reschedule as needed • Track and reduce no-show rates through reminders and proactive outreach to families • Manage scheduling logistics, including confirmation calls/messages and appointment preparation • Gather, organize, and maintain patient intake forms, medical histories, and relevant documentation • Verify patient information is complete and accurate in the EHR system before clinical visits • Reach out to referring providers to establish care, obtain medical records, and clarify patient history • Communicate appointment outcomes and updates to referring providers • Track referral status and follow up on outstanding items with external providers • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurse care coordinators, community health workers, psychologists, and therapists

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • Medical Assistant certification (CCMA, AAMA, or equivalent) preferred but not required • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and multiple technology platforms • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment • Enthusiasm for joining a growing startup and contributing to innovative care models • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace suitable for remote work • Bilingual: English/Spanish
