📋 Description

• Work as a software consultant on varied client projects • Influence automation strategies for clients • Build applications and redesign or transform platforms for cloud technology • Use Lean and Agile approaches to solve mission-critical problems • Lead projects to successful completion • Apply continuous delivery practices to improve software delivery speed • Work in collaborative, product-focused teams to build innovative customer experiences • Create large-scale distributed systems from microservices • Apply technology solutions to client problems • Use DevOps tools and practices to build and deploy software efficiently

🎯 Requirements

• BA or BS or equivalent required • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in customer-facing environments • Good presentation skills • Experience diagnosing issues with Compile, Assembly, and LinkEdit processes for z/OS • Experience developing mainframe applications using COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, Java, and EZT for z/OS • Experience with IBM CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, Liberty, and z/OS Connect • Experience with z/OS source control platforms and processes such as Panvalet, Endevor, and SCLM • Knowledge of IBM zEnterprise Hybrid Computing offerings, including zLinux, zCX, Db2, and IDAA • Experience with IBM Dependency Based Build and components including Groovy or YAML • Experience using the z/OS USS environment • Experience using an IDE for mainframe development, such as IBM IDz, BMC Compuware Topaz, or VSCode • Experience with Git-based source control platforms • Experience with IBM UrbanCode Deploy • Experience with Ansible Automation Platform • Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies and best practices • Current working knowledge of IBM zEnterprise Hybrid Computing offerings, including zLinux, zCX, and IDAA • Current working knowledge of DB2 DBA support for software development • Ability to travel • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work at a computer • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
