📋 Description

• Drive downstream execution for U.S. marketing and Venus Thromboembolism Education (VTE) initiatives within a target region • Partner with sales management and the sales force to connect marketing initiatives to physician customers across the care path • Create large cross-functional coalitions internally and externally • Manage a large multi-state geography to drive VTE education programs and identify and develop resources • Act as a regional VTE care path expert and liaison among Penumbra and key stakeholders • Prioritize key account work across multiple regions • Develop and execute education and clinical care path strategies and clinical program development plans • Manage account education initiatives throughout the project lifecycle • Identify and develop care path KOLs and educational program opportunities • Organize and execute local/regional care path tradeshows, conferences, and meetings • Represent marketing as a key point of contact within a defined sales region • Work closely with field sales leaders, sales, and clinical teams • Serve as the regional expert in clinical data related to thrombectomy and incorporate product and therapy data into messaging • Assist with local PR initiatives related to product launches • Drive understanding of patient and clinician insights, including patient and care path physician behavior • Establish relationships with key customers and key opinion leaders to support podium representation and product adoption • Anticipate and respond to customer needs • Capture and evaluate regional activities analytically, recommend new opportunities, and adapt processes and strategies • Promote and maintain the Penumbra brand and raise therapy awareness • Collect and share competitive product, activity, and therapy intelligence with the manager • Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System and applicable quality, security, privacy, and compliance regulations • Ensure department members follow required systems, regulations, standards, and procedures • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of progressive responsibilities and experience managing program development, quality initiatives, and LEAN Sigma engagements in the hospital or medical device field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience • 3+ years of experience in program development, clinical quality improvement, and B2B or field marketing • Experience developing and executing strategic customer initiatives • BSN/RN experience as a PERT, VTE, or Stroke Coordinator, or work in ED, ICU, Pulmonology, or a related practice area is highly preferred • Program Management, especially LEAN Sigma experience, with a strong clinical background and sound decision-making capabilities, is a plus • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-based environment and generate consensus through inclusion • Ability to raise important information or questions and take action when issues must be addressed • Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills • Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers and marketing partners • Willingness and ability to conduct company business outside Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Ability to travel extensively by car and plane • Valid driver’s license for state of residency and active vehicle insurance policy • Ability to operate a moving vehicle • Ability to work in Cath Labs or ORs with radiation exposure and wear a lead apron for 2–3 hours on average • Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) • Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds • Required visual abilities include near, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
