âą Analyze CMS and corporate security requirements to ensure policies, procedures, and deliverables are in place and timely âą Identify information security issues posing immediate risks and provide real-time alerts âą Manage IT security and risk and analyze security solutions using CDM tools and processes âą Verify and validate Tenable vulnerability scans and Gigamon network traffic aggregation âą Develop CDM-specific policies, procedures, guidelines, and staff training âą Execute CDM processes, procedures, and assessments and monitor deployed security tools âą Review access requests, recommend authorization, and audit access rights under HIPAA policies âą Conduct vulnerability testing and scans of FISMA-mapped assets within the SGSNet accreditation boundary âą Oversee and assist with configuration updates to CDM tools âą Operate Tenable, ForeScout CounterAct, and Gigamon to observe and analyze network vulnerabilities âą Configure and test application vulnerabilities âą Set up scans to detect malicious software and hardware in accordance with CDM HWAM and configuration management requirements âą Conduct security reviews and audits of existing and newly acquired systems âą Recommend improvements to internal controls and security âą Conduct annual information security risk assessments âą Facilitate response procedures for breaches and anomalies identified by CDM tools âą Complete statistical and status reports and provide timely, accurate responses âą Suggest configuration changes to server, network, client, and security devices âą Investigate root causes and assist in determining mitigation âą Interact with customers regarding business and technical IT needs âą Participate in implementations, upgrades, and conversion projects âą Manage projects within scope of responsibilities
