📋 Description

• Lead IPaC website application architecture updates for federal data migration • Design and implement API integration between the consultation application and cloud data platform • Implement species display functionality, including habitat designations, listing status, and regulatory requirements • Develop programmatic consultation logic alignment updates and joint agency consultation handling logic • Support establishment and maintenance of the demo environment for government demonstrations • Resolve application-layer defects identified during interoperability testing • Deliver application-layer integration components for the IPaC UI and Logic Update Package • Implement platform-side integration updates for DKey content and consultation package assembly workflows • Execute production cutover application deployment activities according to the approved migration playbook • Document application maintenance procedures and incident response protocols in Final Operational Playbooks

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years professional experience, or a Master's degree and 6 years professional experience, or an Associate's degree and 10 years professional experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent and 12 years' professional experience • U.S. Citizenship required • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance • Extensive software development experience focused on federal application integration • Experience designing and implementing REST API integrations between federal applications and cloud data platforms • Proficiency in Java, Python, or equivalent backend development languages • Experience with Git or equivalent version control platforms for federal application code management and deployment • Experience with federal software development standards and FedRAMP-compliant deployment • Familiarity with Section 508/WCAG 2.0 accessibility requirements • Familiarity with federal IT governance frameworks and platform constraint management • Preferred: experience with IPaC or similar federal environmental decision support systems • Preferred: familiarity with DKey systems or consultation package builder platforms • Preferred: familiarity with Databricks or cloud data lakehouse API integration • Preferred: familiarity with integration testing frameworks or API contract testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI • Preferred: experience with Agile/iterative software development on federal programs • Preferred: experience with DOI, FWS, or NOAA Fisheries IT environments
